The Club is situated on the West Coast of Scotland 35 miles south of Glasgow and close to the County Town of Ayr. Panoramic Views of the Firth of Clyde, looking out to the Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig, (Paddy's Milestone) will immediately delight and enthral the first time visitor. Prestwick Golf Club and Turnberry Golf Club are both within easy driving distance of Royal Troon, each having a history of Open Championship golf participation.

Local

Glasgow Airport is 40 minutes away, using the A77, and Prestwick Airport 10 minutes easy driving. Drivers from Glasgow and Paisley should take the A77 or A736. From the North and East, drivers should use the A77 and A71. Traffic from England and South should take the M6, A74, A75, A76 and A77 to Troon. Once at Troon, follow signs to golf course.
