SKELDON
Skeldon House is situated in Dalrymple
and is on the Skeldon Estate. This was part of the domain owned by the
Duke of Portland and the residence was for a time occupied by the Duke’s
factor.
The first of
four par fives on the inward nine, this hole must be approached with
great respect. The drive should avoid bunkers right and left and the
second shot has to be played through the dog leg to facilitate an
approach to an undulating green with bunkers either side.
