Ayr Belleisle’s Jamie Hay claimed victory by one shot in the 2025 Hillhouse Cup, played over the Old Course at Royal Troon on Sunday 29 June.
Jamie negotiated the course, from the Blue Tees, with an impressive score of 72 to secure victory in one of Ayrshire’s most prestigious amateur events. Blair Morton (Royal Troon) and Scott Brown (Prestwick St Cuthbert) tied for 2nd with scores of 73, followed by last year’s winner Nicholas Gold (Troon St Meddans) in 3rd place with a score of 74.
