Jack Broun wins the 2023 Hillhouse Cup

Turnberry’s Jack Broun claimed victory by one shot in the 2023 Hillhouse Cup, played over the Old Course at Royal Troon on Sunday 14 May.

Jack negotiated the course, from the Blue Tees, with a one-over-par score of 72 to secure victory in one of Ayrshire’s most prestigious amateur events.

George Burns (Gailes Links) finished in second place with a score of 73, followed by Jack Purdie (Largs) in third with 74.

Joe Gilligan (Troon Portland) 75 and Colin Goudie (Ayr Belleisle) 77 also claimed prizes by finishing in 4th and 5th respectively.
