Royal Troon helps kids get in the swing of it with taster sessions

Daily Record, Tuesday 3 April 2018

An incredible 2000 school children have had golf tasters inside their own gyms.

It was part of the first ever outreach drive by Royal Troon Golf Club to get kids involved in the game.

The professional team at Royal Troon were behind the mission and they gave lessons in putting and chipping to every class within the five Troon primaries, Dundonald and Symington.

Clubs all over the country are so worried about the lack of young swingers, that often juniors pay no fee, and Royal Troon wants to be seen to be heading the campaign to turn it around.
